3. Your Status
By placing an order through our Site, you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are a consumer (you are purchasing for your own personal use and not for business purposes).
4. Contract Formation
4.1. When you place an order on our Site, this constitutes an offer to purchase the products from us. Your order is an invitation to us to form a contract.
4.2. After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order (the "Order Confirmation Email"). Please note that this email does not constitute acceptance of your order.
4.3. A binding contract between you and us (the "Contract") is only formed when we send you a second email confirming that your order has been dispatched (the "Dispatch Confirmation Email"). The Contract will relate only to those products listed in the Dispatch Confirmation Email.
4.4. If we are unable to supply you with a product for any reason (for example, because the product is out of stock, we cannot process your payment, or we have identified an error in the price or description), we will not process your order and will inform you of this by email. No contract will be formed in respect of those products.
5. Description of Products and Availability
5.1. The images of the products on our Site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display colours and textures accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display accurately reflects the product. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
5.2. All descriptions, specifications, and advertising on our Site are subject to change without notice. We do not warrant that the descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
5.3. All products are subject to availability. We may limit the quantities of any products that we supply.
6. Made to Order and Custom Products
6.1. Certain products, including but not limited to Furniture and Lighting, may be made to order or customised according to your specifications. These products are referred to as "Bespoke Goods".
6.2. Due to their custom-made nature, Bespoke Goods are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except where they are faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.
6.3. For Bespoke Goods, you are responsible for ensuring that all measurements and specifications you provide are accurate. We are not liable for any errors arising from incorrect information provided by you.
7. Price and Payment
7.1. The price of any products will be as quoted on our Site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT at the applicable rate but exclude delivery costs.
7.2. Delivery costs will be added to the total amount due and will be displayed to you during the checkout process and confirmed in the Order Confirmation Email.
7.3. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation Email.
7.4. Our Site contains a large number of products. It is always possible that, despite our reasonable efforts, some of the products listed on our Site may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the error. We will give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you in writing.
7.5. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment will be debited from your account before the dispatch of your products.
8. Delivery
8.1. Your order will be delivered to the address you specify during the checkout process. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is correct and that someone is available to accept delivery.
8.2. Delivery timescales are estimates only and commence from the date of the Dispatch Confirmation Email. We aim to deliver within the estimated timescale, but delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the products within the estimated timescale.
8.3. For large or bulky items, we may use a specialist courier service. You will be contacted directly by the courier to arrange a convenient delivery date.
8.4. Risk in the products (including responsibility for loss or damage) passes to you upon delivery. Title to the products (legal ownership) passes to you when we have received full payment for them.
8.5. If you fail to accept delivery or are not available to accept delivery, the products may be returned to us. We reserve the right to charge you for any reasonable storage costs and any further delivery costs incurred.
8.6. Full details of our delivery options, costs, and timeframes are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Cancellation and Returns
Your Right to Cancel
9.1. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to cancel a Contract (with the exception of Bespoke Goods) within 14 days without giving any reason.
9.2. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
9.3. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model cancellation form available at the end of these Terms, but it is not obligatory.
Our Returns Policy
9.4. In addition to your statutory right to cancel, we offer a 30-day returns policy. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to return items (excluding Bespoke Goods) for a refund or exchange, provided they are in perfect, unused condition with all original packaging, labels, and tags intact.
9.5. To initiate a return under our 30-day policy, please use our Returns Portal or contact us at contact@fillic.co.uk. Full details of our returns process are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Effects of Cancellation
9.6. If you cancel this Contract within the 14-day statutory period, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (except for any supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than standard delivery).
9.7. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you (i.e., handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods).
9.8. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel.
9.9. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
Returning Goods
9.10. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
9.11. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
9.12. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
10. Faulty Goods
10.1. We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with the Contract. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, your goods must be:
- Of satisfactory quality.
- Fit for a particular purpose.
- As described.
10.2. If your goods are faulty, we will offer you a refund, repair, or replacement as required by law. This is in addition to your legal rights.
10.3. If you believe your goods are faulty, please contact us immediately at contact@fillic.co.uk with your order number, a description of the fault, and photographs if applicable.
10.4. We will cover the reasonable costs of returning faulty goods to us.
11. Liability
11.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable law.
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
11.2. Subject to clause 11.1, we shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue.
- Any business interruption.
- Loss of anticipated savings.
- Loss of business opportunity, goodwill, or reputation.
- Any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
11.3. Our total liability to you in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with the Contract, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to the price of the products purchased.
12. Events Outside Our Control
12.1. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An "Event Outside Our Control" is defined as any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.
12.2. If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a Contract:
- We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you.
- Our obligations under the Contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control.
- If the Event Outside Our Control continues for a prolonged period, we may cancel the Contract and refund you any sums you have paid.

17. Changes to These Terms
17.1. We have the right to revise and amend these Terms from time to time.
